I got the same. I get "Packet needs to be defragmented but DF set" upto 1473, but at 1472 I get "Request timed out".. Any idea what went wrong here?

Oi Slat, Thanks for that! I just played a game without a problem, but I haven't tried your tips yet. I did deactivate the media server in my network settings, which is apparently also supposed to be of help on the PS3. Gotcha some rep :)

I had the same yesterday evening. Played 4 matches and lost the first 3 as the connection was lost and won the last one, 'cause my opponent's connection dropped.. The game itself played smoothly, but the connections dropping continuously is a big shame :(

I don't have the PC version, but can't you stop the game before the kick-off and do the controller selection via "Player Settings"?

hi guys, Just wondering: I played PES 2009 online yesterday night with my PS3, but the game keeps on disconnecting (so I lose the games). Have you guys had the same or do I need to swear at my Internet provider? :P Cheers!

Had many issues yesterday as well. The gameplay online felt good, but it kept on disconnecting so I lost 3 out of my 4 matches due to disconnects :(

He can always be created in your OF though so that's fine.. Am not that fuzzed about him not being in the game though. In real life he hasn't been in the game for ages either in all honesty...

I would recommend the PS3 for the following reasons: 1: you are used to playing with a PS2 so the PS3 controller would feel much more natural to you than the Xbox360 one 2: on-line being free is really a pro 3: the editing capabilities for PES 2009 seem to be better on the PS3 than on the...
