I have just got my copy! For many years we have been behind Europe regarding the release, patches, etc, North America finally is rewarded.
OK, I talked too much with you, guys. I am going to play and start a ML... :)
On PS2 some years ago (I don't remember which PES, PES 2008 maybe?), I got some 9.5. I remember it was not difficult to get a 9.0 for example. Since I moved to PS3, I haven't never got higher than 8.5.
Xavi would be great. He's been one of the best playmakers for years.
With the new player control in PES 2012 and possibilities of great passes, Xavi would represent all that.

Well, it seems that Konami is very confident in the new AI system.
One thing that would help to control any "abuse" of the new player control is to adjust the fatigue system. Simple like that.
I would be good if this system was also applied to the defense.
Anyway I am positively surprised with this news. I don't know whether it will work or not, but it gives us some very interesting possibilities.
I agree with Ali_BWFC. South American teams have a lot of quality players. Unfortunately Konami only considers good players the ones who play in Europe.
Just an example: Pato comes from Internacional (Brazilian team). His stats when he was in Internacional were very poor. The next PES when he...
Thanks, Goalgerd!
About the videos:
- atmosphere in the stadium: zero. It seems they are playing in a dead stadium.
- float balls: really weird
- off the ball runs: nice but I don't like the idea that AI controls everything. Wouldn't it be nice if we could actually select the player and send...
That would be nice if we actually could shield the ball properly. In PES 2011 it is basically impossible to shield the ball because or you lose the ball like there was no barrier between your player and the opponent, or your player is immediately surround by three defenders who take the ball as...
For me PES 2011 was a big disappointment. The game had really a great potential but the final product has so many flaws that the gameplay and the enjoyment in playing are compromised. I just cannot believe that Konami tested the game before the release. And what makes me more sad is to read that...
One of the problems, I think, is that Konami wanted to emphasize the pass system in PES 2011. So they changed the gameplay to be more "pass-oriented". One clear example is the fact that fast players now cannot easily burst on the wings with speed because even a poor defender can catch him up. In...
Since you're talking about formation, I have a question: does anybody know whether it is possible to copy and paste formations? I am not talking about saving and loading but copying as formation A or B. For example, let's say my main formation is a 4-4-2 and I want that formations A and B to be...
Agree. And probably they will say that the version they are presenting is xx% of the final code. Then in every forum about PES, people will complain about the flaws in the gameplay while others will say "that was xx% of the final code. They will fix for the release".
Sure...
