Sounds like you are using the same PNG file for both shirts to begin with and then saving after you amend it, you should create a new save rather than save over the older one, at least I think that is whats happening, good luck!

Go a team who have a kit you can edit, gives you a fresh look and feel to your team every so often. Also, play your younger players, even if its only as a sub or in cup games, but it will be well worth the investment in them longer term, enjoy :)
