you can play 2vs2 with invited players - it won't be ranked but you can create a match room and invite players by setting the limit invitation option. Just make sure your buddies are all on green connections or you'll be in for an extremely frustrating, controller breaking experience...

Are you playing on Top Player? I agree the AI sometimes makes daft decisions but on Top Player it's few and far between. I find your team play far better if you play as a team player i.e when defending mark your man and close down runs - your team will end up winning the ball back more often...

and play IN position - you spend the whole match ball chasing and it will effect your rating. Other than that nicmollet had it spot on.

the red ball is your players current position in relation to the curve - if it's above your developing at a quicker rate than your projected path. I'm still finding out for sure but I think that an average of 6.0 or so for your rating will keep you on the projected path. Anything over a 6.5...

has anyone seen their player "beat" the growth curve? In other words has anyone seen the red dot that denotes your players current position on the curve be ABOVE the line rather than on it? Could consistent high performance ratings effect the curve and your players relation to it? I've only...
