Thanks dido, That's what I was after...also the games crashes when left on the opening demo screen i.e as it's tries to load up the CL game of Inter vs Man U...freezes on CL logo.

Thanks ahmed, I'm aware of that. I'm just surprised that no one over a week could give a suggestion for the best PC patch seeing that so many people are putting so much time into creating option files and re creating players and teams.

198 views and no suggestions. Lucky I waded through pages of poorly written forums and established that kowalski's patch seems to be the best. Hope this helps others

Big shout out to YNWA's PC patch, works a treat! I bought myself a fairly decent pc just to run a patched version of PES 2008 and haven't looked back. It did take me while to get my head around the transferring of files with AFS and kitserver etc. but I followed the instructions carefully...
