noone is complaining about crossing because crossing was an issue in all-pes series that when you are near the box and you cross, there is no power bar so it is fully automatic regardless of direction. This was in 08, 09, 10, 11 and now 12.

Read the manuel for all-types of crossing- l2 is manuel cross(a bit assisted though), r2 is manuel high cross, and l1 is automatic early cross if you are not near the box

I do notice however in 2012 the cross has to be directed. I still make the mistake of coming down the wing, getting even with the box, and not flicking my stick towards the goal so a cross goes straight and past the end line. bad habit of mine.

konami made crossing retarded. You don't need to direct if you are in near the box in the wing but if you are even then it's not a cross in pes terms, it's a long ball which obviously has to be directed. To make it a cross out of the box, press l1 before you cross so it doesn't turn into a long pass.

I had the same problem as you

What really? Don't think this is right... Because your controlling your player running down the wing which is therefore pointing towards the goal anyway surely?

miles better already, shooting is a 100% times better it doesnt feel as floaty as before, goalkeepers are better they pull of some sick saves lol obv stutter run fixed back to 1080i for me. tackling is good aswell

Anybody who has tried the 360 patch have any comments? Is the aiming when shooting 1v1 any better? Has the tackling changed much? Have the goalkeepers really improved this time?

Don't know bout 360, but I've just had a rubbish free kick go in against me without a touch on anyone (PC) (facepalm time). I hate to be a scaremonger but...

I played a guy who tried to shoot from like 55 meters, so he didnt even have a power bar, so the played just cleared the ball forward, and my goalkeeper gave him corner kick twice lol. KONAMI WTF

you cannot beautify something that is naturally ugly... whatever they done it will not fix the game... game is broken, we need a fresh new code with a strong football base...

Yeah but wtf, shooting in pes 2011 was sometimes so fucking great. I mean these hard, low shoots when you were at the edge of the box. Or truly spectacular crackers from 25 meters. Yeah they happen in pes12, but look so unnatural and ugly. and keeper animations are terrible, pes6 had better lol

I'm not dissing the game peeps, I'm going to give a very fair crack of the whip and play it for a week like I have all versions. But I can only give feedback on what has happened, and like I say, in the very first game my keeper has made a howler. But we'll see....
