Im beeing realistic , you are the one defending Konami even though its obvius they do not put enough effort for the money they get each year from sales , but we already saw how they declined this year so hopefully this will wake them up.

Also, I wouldn't sit here and compain that PES 6 AI was better when you're talking about BAL, since it didn't have that mode. I think one of the reasons why Konami didn't release BAL earlier is because they understood that the demands for AI intelligence are much higher when you implement a mode were the player plays along side the CPU. It's not going to bug people as much if the AI is poor when they are only playing against the AI... Let's face it, we're all better winners than losers at heart.

Everyone that has a keen interest in soccer and watched it for basically all his life said that PES 08 was a horrible decline after such great games before , and now even though they made PES 09 quite better its still far from where it once was , they made no progress in almost any area , and declined in many others , the only thing they did make now is a new mode that already kinda existed before and graphic went to the better yet its still not near a next generation game even tho if PES does have something great its the player faces.

What are you talking about? Did you even play pes6? You could set your curser to manual or fixed , if it was fixed you choose one player to control in ur team the others were AI controled.
And im only angry because I can't gasp of how they could make some really weird and almost laughable mistakes , the AI really is not smart , on top player even the opposition is not alot smarter at all based on playing soccer , they become faster ,stronger , jump better than you , score goals easly , but not really alot smarter , thats what I see the biggest flaw is in PES AI besides those very rookie errors, then theres players playing the same way , everyone doing stepovers like messi who never in his life did it , everyone cuting the ball fast like they were Messi , and im sure anyone who is a KONAMI fan and has played PES all his life will at least somewhat agree and deep inside him wish that KONAMI would stop this kidding around and actually make a lot of progress and new things , Fifa made them and im not talking about Fifa and trying to put it in this convo , I actually never played it only watched at the ppl I know, but the point is if EA can do such progress why doesn't Konami?
Each year fifa is closer and better , this year arguably some ppl even say it already passed PES , and why would a KONAMI fan be satisfied with this? Tell me one good reason why? Bottom point is KONAMI gets alot of money and they should earn it with hard work.

Yeah. I can agree in part with some of these comments. Don't get me wrong Mystery Man, I see where you're coming from, and it's obvious you're right pissed because you think nobody else agrees with you. You're not the only one though who could imagine the AI being much better. I'm just as unhappy, in a way, but I guess the difference is that I think of each new PES/WE incarnation as unique, and that you have to appreciate it for it's own right. I have, sitting on my shelf, a collection of every PES/WE game to date, with the exception of PES 5, which was never released in North America, and the way I look at it I'm happy to have PES 09 in the collection because of the unique challenge it presents. Plus, maybe it's the fact that PES 08 (and 07 on the 360) were so poor that my standards have been lowered. Bottom line, though, is that I play PES 09 every day, sometime 8-10 matches. I can't put it down, even though it frustrates me sometimes. So, to be honest, I can't really sit here and complain.

Anyway, let's not get carried away with this suggestion that the Konami team is money hungry, not working hard, etc. I can't take of that as a serious claim. Just take a look at everything involved in one year's work. Besides, as Dan Bolas pointed out this week, Konami owe us nothing. Every year I fork over 60 bucks for a game I play every day for a whole year. That's the best entertainment value money can buy, so grin and bear the little defects, I say, and learn to appreciate it for it's defferences from previous versions. I find you have to do that every year, anyway, which is what really keeps the series fresh for me.

The only reason im frustrated is because fifa managed to catch pes, 3 years ago there was no competition at all , now its different..
