2009 Online Mode

So as i played online mode for the first time in a while, the usual frustration brewed in me that caused me to think about online mode in the next version of PES.

Here are some things i came up with that i hope to be included.

First and foremost, obviously a fix to all the laggy games, the warping and the crappy framerate. Nobody likes it when you think you have the ball and then the next minute the opponent is 1on1 with your goalie and scores.

More players. As great as 1 on 1 is, the game is much more fun the more players you addit, 2v2 atleast online would be great. more would be better (i have 7 controllers, could you imagine how great 7v7 would be? ;)) but i would settle for 2v2.

Better ranking system. Make how many points you gain/lose from a game depend on more than just your rank and their rank. If it depended on what team you play as and what team you play against would be great. For example, in 2008, if you played as Barcelona, Inter Milan or Brazil like virtually everyone does then you'll gain sweet fuck all points from a victory and you won't get very far (unless ofcourse you play against the same team) And picking a weaker team would give you a boost in points assuming you win. This would encourage people to pick different teams and give a bit of well needed variety to online play, there's only so many times i can enjoy playing against Inter/barce etc.

More choice other than exhibition. Cups and leagues being integrated can't be too hard to do and it would make it a lot more fun. You could have a time period that you must complete your match in and if you fail to do so you lose by forfeit.

Updated transfers via patches. This is pretty self-explanatory and also stems from my hatred of playing Inter Milan over and over. Would make the game more realistic and therefore better.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Couldn't agree more mate. I'm sure you speak for all of us when you say that.:)

As long as they fix the lag, I don't mind lag here and there, but as long as it doesn't affect any goal scoring opportunities or whatever.

or here's an idea u shud be able to spectate other peoples matches online if u want, like if high ranking people are playing you can drop in and see how good they are, or how good your friends are against other people. or be able to control the referee in friendly matches (only) as this would be to controversial in ranking matches. like if 2 of yours friends where playin together online you the third person could control the refferee. i think it would add more fun to the game and more options for people to amuse themselves with.

i don't know how this would work, i'm just thrownin in idea's
