What has happened to the PES series. I last bought this game in 2005, Gameplay felt so natural, yet this latest realease and it does not feel like it anymore. Gimmicks seem to be replacing (just like fifa), good gameplay.
I went back to fifa, as there had been good advances in gameplay but this years version is awful, so i traded it in for this years pes and could not belive how bad it has become.
Players stopping, invisable wall around computer players,
In the past if you attacked down the middle or wings, your players would at least attempt to run, and if you were too late releasing the ball they would be off-side, now thery don`t even run, to the point my wingers run back towards my goal, when i need them attacking.
In the manual it says you move the curser, so why does the computer keep doing it. If they are going to do this, why is it more likely to be the player further from the loose ball rather than the nearest.
Shooting, from on the 6 yard area, i have hit the post or crossbar, more times in the last 2 weeks, than in 6 months with previous versions, once again, it looks nice, but unrealistic.
Fifa who cannot get the gameplay right, at least have the licences, to attract the gameplayer, but untill Pes finally get them, they rely on gameplay so why make it worse.
