i found it hard to play 4 - 4 -2 any tips for 4-4-2

or just play with three forward

WE9 also PES 5 ,I saw your post about 4 defender and 2 dmf .it's look good i will play with 4 -2 -2-2 like real madrid but i want some tip for play two forward

In WE9/PES5,
4-4-2 diamond and
3-4-1-2 seem to work well for me.

when u play three at the back make sure u have ur defence system on sweepr.and also make sure that ur wingers can put in a good shift defensivly but also be quick on breaking for attack.

this is where formation a and formation b come in handy.

It's not that bad as you have the cover in midfield for the headers out of defence.

the 2nd 2 would be wide players but be able to get up and down the wings.the 1st 2 would be defensive midfielders.set it to counter attack.

you cant depending on formation with 3 defender if you dont put two WB

1- 3-2-2-1-2 (( DMF - CMF - 2 X WB - AMF )) look for great shooter CMF

2- 4-1-2-1-2 (( that is the best formation for my cause i have an amizing TALL DMF and good shooter AMF ))

I play 3-5-2. I have my two wing-backs playing more as wingers, I have them pushed high up the pitch right on the oppositions fullbacks. i keep two midfielders sitting in front of the 3 CB's to break play up. The rest of the team is all out offence. Two wingers, an attacking midfielder supporting the two strikers. It works well.
