in PES4 is there a large difference between the gameplay/speed on 50 hz and 60hz, or do they both play near enough the same?

Thanks

I'm not sure but I think there is a slowdown in the box on 60 hz. I've only played on 50 hz.

60Hz tends to increase the slowdown. I have not tried it yet but 50hz seems to run flawlessly on all TV setups. Stick with 50hz.

I don't know what the demo is Flipper as I haven't played it. If it is to fast, it's probably 60hz. I don't know though so don't quote me :)

Confused???

I'm a bit confused now....I thought that the 60 hz version were supposed to be better! With slowdowns, but a little better gameplay??? Is it just the speed of the game or what is the difference??

hhhmmm..do u guys remember iss1 or 1ss2? U could actually choose gameplay-speed with a bar in the option menu....Now wht on earth couldn't they do it on the newer versions? Maybe it would upset gameplay? Who knows..

:cool:

i agree, ive been playing on 60hz and its fine, 60hz is definately crisper!

60hz is much nicer.... when playing with a widescreen TV as well it eliminates the flat player symdrome that you get when playing it and the screen is layed out a lot nicer and is almost zoomed....
60hz is much crisper and shaper, I doubt you'll really tell the difference unless you play in the zoomed in side view like I do... think the middle zoom one is the default....

The demo gave you the choice of picking between 50 or 60hz

hz= pic per sec

meaning that you get a more steady pic with 60 hz works the same way as your computer monitor if you raize the frequens.. your eye should relax more at a higher frequens..

hope it helps...

to make it effective do you need a RGB scart instead of the onne you get with the PS2?

Yep, otherwise the graphics arent as clear in 60Hz mode compared to 50Hz. With a RGB scart it looks fantastic though in 60Hz mode....i got one just bc i prefer to play 60Hz......

Ain't it a RGB scart that follows with the PS2 when you buy it????
