I turned the commentary off last night and my God!! It was a whole new ball game! The game seemed smoother, crisper, and some of the goals were the best I've ever scored! Could this be my imagination or could turning commentary off make a real difference?

I've been playing with commentary off since November. It just gets distracting for me.

ive always had it off, i just cant believe that you put up with it for more then a few games :D

go to sound options and turn the effects volume right up then sit back and listen to the crowd roar, it really gets the heart beating - sounds dead good for cup finals and that ;)

one thing that is missing in pes3 is the italian commentary!!!it was just great!!i loved it...
but i kind of don't mind playing with commentary cus like that i can laugh of what peter and trevor say!!!or sometimes i put it in spanish when playing Barcelona-Madrid or something....

I usually just get my headphones on and listen 2 the radio or a cd wen i play pes3!!

Flipper, if you can hook your PS2 upto a proper amplifier and speakers, the sound just gets even better - all compressed and muffled while the players wait in the tunnel, it explodes when the go onto the pitch.

But the best, which I'd never really noticed before is the drumming that comes in and out during the game itself.

It's just a matter of getting the right lead. For a few pounds/dollars/yen I'd say its a very affordable way to get a huge improvement in the experience of playing.

And it means you can use it for regular DVD's too. Which is nice.

i have a home cinema surround sound system thingy downstairs and cellini's dead right

my mum tells me not to play the ps2 downstairs because of screen burn (on lcd tv's playing ps2 can mess it up) but whenever i can i go downstairs just for the noise

flippin super it be :D oh and manhunt wasn't half bad either :)
it just completes the whole atmosphere of it you can really get hooked
