I've got a sneeky feeling this Konami update will default the option file. I think it will edit the necessary updates but may put EVERYTHING else back to original settings. This is going to be a nightmare for OF creators/users if it proves to be the case...

I've got the same feeling. I edited half of the Premier League kits and some random names here and there when I first got the game. When I heard about the new Konami OF though I stopped editing as I've got the feeling they'll default everything too. Won't be a pretty sight it has to be said, we can only wait and see. Surprised WinningElevenBlog haven't updated us on it yet, but I guess since they haven't, it probably will overwrite our work.

thats what i thought, my idea was that, konami update the default OF ( you know the one you go online with) what my idea was on my OF, ill go to register player, press triangle for default......then all the transfers will be done from konamis update.....not effecting my edited kits. like wise going to athlet madrid pressing default on kits. there you have licensed team.

but i was also told by ingie that the patch will work directly to your file, so it will drive to ath madrid and just change that team updating your work to the new team kits etc. its worked on a database system....ie player 089 goes to Team 010 no matter where he is. its all numbered.

but not sure these are my hunches
