Right, ive read the tutorial on the main pesinsight page, and ive done all the copying and pasting of 4 boards into a bmp, but then i start to get lost.

when it says 8 bit bitmap, what does it mean? i only have the option of 24 bit, 256 colours, 16 colours or monochrome.

also, how do i go about changing the file from a bmp to an afs/bin/whatever it has to be to be imported to the game?

any help appreciated.

you need to get the WE Picture Decoder.

That will do most of the dirty work.

You can also save it as an 8-bit png file. Also if you save it as a bmp as 24bit or something, then reopen it and try to save again you usually get thet 8 bit option.

You can use Paintshop pro 7 to change the colour depth thus making it an 8 bit bitmap!!! that should solve your probs ash as I have been able to make my own adboards....

i'd get photoshop... then all you have to do is go to mode>indexed colour, and then save it and it cant be anything but a 8 bit-much easier.

I own paintshop pro... my copy is not illegal either... MS Paint is only good for basic editing and is not good for more complex stuff including things for pro evo 3.....

I myself am going to try photoshop to see if there is something in it that will solve my ghost face problem for the face insertion.... watch the other threads (inserting own faces into the game) space!!

In photoshop use mode RGB and when finished your editing use mode index colour and save as BMP file, and in paint shop pro, reduce the image to 256 colours and save as a BMP file, using these methods saves your images as 8bit.

Ad Boards (Side - Non-Rotating) - 120st -> 120st_kb__tc -> st_kb_w_tc.bin ... File 2, 3, 4 and 5

Ad Boards (Behind Goals - Rotating) - 120st -> 120st_kb__tc -> st_kb_w_tc.bin ... File 1

If you notice in afs extract, if you turn on the media view, a few of those ad board files have multiple images in them.

anyone know the proper way to change each 'frame' of that?
