Adding curve to a shot

I've been able to put moderate curve on my shots using the left joystick, but is there any other way to add bending to a shot?

Hold R2 while shooting with the left joystick. The R2 slows the ball down.

If the ball still needs more curve, hold (triangle) with R2.

Or just hold triangle to curve the ball without slowing it down if you become an expert.

I started playing W11 long ago and a few moves were added in every addition. I kept track.

There are 5 buttons that control a free kick

(up): fast & low curve ball
(down): slow & high curve ball
(R1): fast ball
(R2): slow ball

All these buttons are activated if you press them with (square)

(Triangle): This button can be activated during a shot (after pressing square) and will curve the ball downwards if you accidentaly pushed (square) more than you wanted to.

the fig above i made is the freekick shooting range..I wanna know must it be slightly above the no.(2) or slightly below no.(2)...or there other tips that's easier...hope u guys know what I'm mean and can help me with this one.thanks

your right and wrong with this post.

R1 in PES 4 was fast ball its not in PES5 its curl to the right and L1 is curl to the left on free kicks

If you want hard shot you push up and triangle when power bar is displayed

Depends on distance best thing to do is practise mate
i usually aim between the second from end between their heads depending on distance of course for power
