Adding players to national team selection?

How do I do that without replacing a player? It's damn annoying.

You can't just add players to the national teams willie nillie! Otherwise you could end up with a national team with 100+.
The national teams have a set number of players, 24 I think!?

So you can only swap players!

A national team squad only has 23 players in it. It's logical.

If you place a player like say Van Nistelrooy into the Dutch squad from the unlocked players list, will he appear in your ML eventually even thou you have classic players turned off!?
