After-touch on PES 3

Hey all,

I have been playing PES since early this year and I still havent mastered the after touch on shooting.

I cant figure out what direction does what, and I need help. If you want left or right spin and you use the side on camera do you press up or down on the d-pad(because that is the relative left or right of the goal) or is it simply left does left spin and right does right spin? and what do up and down do?

if you know about after touch, then please tell me cause i dont know.

Where is the"d-pad controls confusion" thread then. I've come to pes as I think it's getting close to my favourite evr footy game ISS 64. The after touch on this was really good as you had to let go of the stick and then add swerve in the direction you want to it was quite tricky to master but really good once you did. Is the pes 3 method anything like this?

there is a reason why u got a training mode in PES.

The reason why they have training mode is cause you have PES POINTS and if you do the challenges you get points. The free training is just to fart around and practice tricks.

Not sure about anyone else but I find free training pretty damn useful...

Especially the new 'play again' feature. Hours of fun!

The 1-2 pass and shoot is probably my favourite thing on free training.

i find that boring after a while. i use training to practice free kicks and sometimes re-creating real life goals in free training.

the play again feature is good but there should be a feature that lets you keep replaying it from the same position without having to pause it and select it again (like a repeat function) that expires when you score or the ball is cleared beyond reasonable doubt, and then started again from your play again position.
