If u ordered it from play u wud recieve it early thats definate, i have ordered the last 2 and they have come on the tuesday, PES3 and Wednesday PES4, so expect the unexpected.

i doubt it mate, why don't you just wait till friday and if it doesn't come out then which i would say is unlikely you will still be able to get the game on the 21st or just pre order it then.

i dunno man, i'm still a bit dubious. i asked the manager at my local game and he told me in no uncertain terms thats they DEFINATELY wont be selling the game untill the official release date on the 21st. hopefully some other places might though. ordered mine from play.com though so i'm PRAYING it arrives early on at least on time!

i don't blame you for being dubious, i was like this last year at exaclty this time of year. Everybody was saying that they had the got the game a week before the release date but i was dubious, i went to game on the 14th and sure enough they had it in.

exactly,that is the sensible thing to do, i know people will be pissed off with me if it isn't out on friday but all i'am trying to do is help you all so you don't have to go longer waiting for pes which is proving to be excruitiating at the moment.

I think there's a decent chance it will be out this Friday , the game usually comes out early and if it does it will be all over this forum like a rash !!!

Starting to enjoy the demo much more now I've got my head around it and cannot wait till a Friday somewhere in the not too distant future to be playing the real thing !! :D

I personally think it will be out on the 14th, cause this has been the case for the past last years. Besides, I don't think Konami would let the sobs at EA have such a headstart....
Maybe this is all just wishfull thinking, but I'll be one happy camper if I have PES 5 in my claws this Friday ! !

Got mine on Saturday. Full PS2 PES5 DVD. Since I'm not in Europe, probably does not apply to y'all.

But I'll be chipping in with my impressions soon, since I have only palyed a couple of matches so far.

It could be out friday because, the advertisements in mags at the mo just say coming soon, dont have a proper release date! Thou havent u thought, Konami could even put it back!!

I said it once before, the local game shop over here in the Netherlands looked it up in his computer and it said a release date of October 15th. So...if it's true, he will probably receive it on Friday (or maybe Thursday). I definitely know that I will bother him a few times this week, starting Wednesday...

In other words...I'm set to get my hands on a copy this Friday...

;) ..Got to agree with this.. even the most professional players don't pass the ball on a wire all the time.. especially when they are under pressure.
Konami have to tweak and change.. because if they just updated kits every year they'd be doing what EA do to their fans..
It's what makes the PES die hard come back for more.. learning the new improved game that takes a year to play and learn..and finally enjoy.. its certainly well worth the £30 you pay... and konami do all that to PES as well as updating the kits and the other material elements of the game.
Konami at the moment are on fire with the PES series.. they've had continuous growth in the series whereas FIFA has almost learched to a halt its borrowing control and passing systems from its rival.
Konami's huge test will no doubt be the switch over to PS3.. where the fun of having all the extra space to work with and the ps3's capabilities will be the challenge to try and not get carried away... hey they could screw it up.. only time will tell but for now i'm just enjoying playing the wonderfull series they've created.
