Only silly people will be looking to buy the game from ebay. More likely that they will be buying a patched version of WE9 so more fool them ;)

I can’t help but feel some people in this forum have no idea what a retail / promo copy of this game is. Firstly it is not a back up / pirate / patched winning eleven copy which can be copied easily and sold “willy nilly” on ebay. In fact it is an official konami release, which are all accounted for and sent to retailers and magazines. All I was suggesting was, if you can’t wait why not buy one of this copies. What difference does it make if you have the game instead of the retailer.
I was in no way promoting the sale of back up / patched copies of this game, which are never as good / reliable, as the official releases.

and where exactly do i buy one of these copies??? you cant! thats why they're "promotional copies" they get sent to the press etc, how am i gonna buy one?

For your info, I've picked up my copy of PES5 last week.It's a full retail version, not promo copy and such. Played a few hours over the weekend. Haven't played since I've been out of town on wrok assignment the past few days. Will put in a godds olid 3-4 hours again this coming weekend.

I don't know where my retailers got it from, since it usually releases here a week or so after the euro debut. They probably got a new channel, since WE9 also came out on Aug 1 when Jpn release was only on Aug 4.

Don't be envious coz we got it and you haven't. I'll be glad to help if you have any queries regarding the game. Before anyone asks, I'll not be showing photos to prove my point, since a) I don't have a digicam/PC and b) I couldn't care less to justify.

I don't need you to justify if you have the game. If you would of checked the newbie's post you'd realise his words were
"Just go and buy the promotional copy off ebay"
Promo copies aren't for sale.. and some stupid TWAT!.. on ebay is selling them.. which is not allowed by copywright and some other stupid GOIT (not you uncle j) suggested that a member should buy one if he couldn't wait.
I'm not envious.. I'm glad you have it and if your location is where you suggested in your p/f.. then i am not surprised you have the game.

Apology accepted.. there's no ill feeling here mate I never hold any grudge to anyone but hey!!.. you have the game:happy: !! That must be great for you.. as for the hours playing PES 5 and when you'll play the game i'm sure you'll find time..;)
So from what you've played of the game what do you think of the game interface and the animations of the players? .. I've only got PS2 Demo but some of the players shot and Goalie Animations look fantastic.. as for the game itself I've pre ordered mine off play.com...... i'm just sitting patiently waiting.. man de ja vu.. :unsure: that reminds me of a fifty cent song..:laugh:

I had a quick look in HMV on my dinner hour but they aren't sellin' till the 21st , not to worry only 7 days to go !!;)

i rang gamestation today and they said they should have it in the store by next thursday and be selling it on the friday, but they said they expect a week delay which i thought was a load of ****. Hopefully play will release it early.
