Some A.I. tweaks I believe would benefit the gameplay:
-Stop the attackers shooting from every goddam angle when they have a perfectly good opportunity to cross or square the ball.
-Allow them to let the ball go out of play when the last touch is from the other team instead of idiotically running after it like a mad dog and end up pushing it out of play.
-Allow players to shield the ball when its rolling out of play provided they have enough balance to do so.
-More volleys instead of stupid weak diving headers.
-Allow keepers to come out and calmly play the ball when there's no pressure like in Pes 3. Also they don't have to pick the ball up right away every time.
-Bring back old throw ins.
-Do something about BAL's agility, condition, and weak foot. It makes no sense that I'm only 60kg yet can only manage 72 agility as AMF and SS. Out of 20+ scout matches only 80 agility twice for AMF. Konami should know better I mean they gave the AMF/SS players the best agility in game. Weight should be more relevant with agility and maybe implement a minigame or something to decide the undevelopable stats.
-Allow SS to learn passing in BAL. Many SS have it in game.
-Far too much squad rotation in BAL and ML. Robinho is constantly on the bench when he has no fatigue and on red arrow. City instead constantly chooses to play the utterly useless Vassell who wastes every killer pass I send him. Same with other clubs like Villa constantly choosing Harewood over fully fit Carew and Heskey wtf?? The best players should play as much as possible, period.
-Fix generated matches between AI. It makes absolutely no sense when you're using another team and Man United and Barca, clearly the 2 best teams in game, lose 15 league matches with no significant injuries. Very stupid. I remember in Pes 4 it was very very hard to be champions as the top teams only lose 2-3 matches all season. Don't go to that extreme but 15 losts is far too much when injuries don't come into the question. Also it's normal for Arsenal, the fastest back 4 in EPL, to leak 50-60 goals every single season??
