yeah Gary Neville is good. It depends what you want from him though. If you want a player more like Ashley Cole who attacks then go with Glen Johnson, don't expect him to help out in any way defensively though

cheers for the replys

Basically my back four at the moment is, Campbell, Terry, G Barry (who is a lot better than i thought he was going to be people should try him)

i might try Gardner though, as i have Kewell down the left flank and he was kept in check all game when i played against tottenham last night.

anyone used him before?? (gardner that is)

Gardner is good, he's a big guy who can head well. If you want a solid defender I'd stick him in instead of Terry or Barry. Also if you're looking for a good DMF you can't go far wrong with Ledley King, that guy can hold the line REALLY well

Personally, I'm a fan of Ledley King (in the game). He seems to absolutely run things when he plays in midfield. I presume he'd do well defensively, he always gets stuck in.

I've put Mills into my England squad. He's good both defensively and attacking wise. However, Neville is the preferred option, links well with Beckham.

In the game, Dyer can play as SMF and SB. And at SB his speed is quite useful, particularly when over-lapping the SMF in front of him. Not great at crossing but quite good at scoring.

C'mon, everyone knows Dyer's a versatile. He can play RB and anywhere across the midfield. Very similar to Stevie Gerard, both with lots of engine but just different builds.

Never thought I'd hear an Arsenal fan (I presume from your avatar) say that =P

I don't like him in real life. I just think he's a good player in the game. ;)

I am an Arsenal fan, but even I could admit that many of Tottenham's players were underrated in PES3. However, Anderton was overrated. Shot Power 90? Oh please...

Not to hi-jack the thread though.

Ledley King is your best bet. Or Dyer. Didn't think of him. :D

one of the best in the Game is G.Neville. Quick versatile and good strength. Gets the nod over any other RB in my team.

yeah what is up with that? Keane is roughly the same as robbie fowler and Anderton gets the same shot power as Ballack. Didn't make much sense to me.
That's what the editing mode is for though =D

Try Arce, from Paraguay. He's got it all! He can defend really well, and is also great in attacking. Good passing, brilliant free-kick taker, ... Way better dan Neville, Terry, ...
And by the way, Dyer at RB?? Are you guys insane! He has to be in midfield, or at front. With that pace... Man :D

He's looking for someone English.
Plus I disagree. England have good players for the forward and midfield positions.

Forwards: Owen, Vassell, Rooney, (ahem) Heskey,
Mids: Beckham, Gerrard, Scholes, Lampard, Hargreaves, Butt and more.

But there isn't much choice for quality SBs in the game that are English. I would rather play Dyer at RB than most others as he has the pace to catch fast forwards which people like Neville and Terry won't have a chance of doing (catching someone like Henry or Ronaldo for example).
