Genreal question, I have both an xbox and ps2, planning on getting pro evo 5 on xbox at the moment. I was thinking of patching the game for updated kits etc, is it better to chip my xbox or use the ps2 methods, is there much difference or do the patches for the different systems not vary that much in what they achieve.
Also, can patches be used without a hard drive.

Nope, WEmerica doesn't have proper kits. This is because this patch was released before the Decrypting software for WE9 came out. Now the software is availavle, wait for a new patch to be released.

Hey, another newbie here. i just have 2 questions

1) whats the best/most up-to-date patch?

2) can u patch the WE9 iso file many times with all the extras that are on here such as the chants/ball types etc? is patchin these just like usin fernandos translation patch?

alright that was technically 3 questions! any help would be much appreciated!

Help with option files

I have downloaded Wemerica patch for we9 and cannot get the option files to boot properly,i will give u a step by step of what im doing and hopefully u might be able to resolve my problem: i burn the Wemerica27bincue.cue file to cd,then load up my cd swap magic,then insert the cd i have just burnt-it boots up and says welcome to PS2MENU v2.6b etc etc etc and directly underneath it,it says please wait........... -i am needless to say im still waiting,can anyone help?

I have problem with wemerica 2.5 patch. Not everithing is working fine, i have uefa champions league movie, new balls, shoes, but i dont hawe english players names and transfers. What have i done wrong??

The first mistake you made was to not read the first post in that thread. Then you didn't bother reading the rest of the thread where you would have found out that the players and transfers are only done if you use the option file that comes with the patch.

How do i make a patch like all the others did?
I've tried to ask here on the forums but there is no reply.
I want to download en search some files right now, so i can start editing when pes5 comes out.

You'll have to ask a patch-maker how to make a patch. There was a thread a while ago which showed how to make a ppf file. Use the Search to find it.

if i remember correctly what you do is on that screen press R1, a menu should come up in top right corner select cdfs, (make sure enough space on mem card.) then select the .opt file using TRIANGLE and it should extract to your mem.

ps. done from mem, holla if any problems

Hi, given up with my Max Drive tried so many ways to get it to work and it isn't worth the effort.

Sooo....

Does anybody know where I can get an X port? Tried Play.com they have sold out, Amazon are selling it for £40 which is a bit steep. Tried looking on Google but not much luck. So I wanted to know, if Play.com are gonna re-stock or if there is anywhere else you guys know I could get it?

I just get a Disc Read Error come up. I've tried it at all angles and I have been inside the ps2 to adjust the lens (just as the guide that is floating around on this boards said). I have also cleaned the disc itself, and used one of those lens cleaning discs and no luck. I will probably get myself a new ps2 sometime, but for now I'll get myself a X-Port. Thanks for the suggestion of ebay I'll see if I can find one

alright, i feel like a total noob, but I have discovered that I am totally useless and need some help :(

I am using the PESfan Option file editor and I want to put a new logo in it, I know I need to save it in a .png format but I have no idea what to do from there, I've searched here for a while so if anyone could direct me to some help or just plain old fork it over that' d be great!
