I might well release the file myself, im just waiting to hear of Goalgerd if i can have permission to use his new bootlist on my file.

Liverpools kits look brilliant, you dont need to have the 2 carlsberg logos. what ive done is re arranged it a little with the font, then i added a little v above the r in carlsberg to give it that logo, then i got the little swoosh as a logo and arranged it linking with the g. It looks very nice, although you cant include the black european away kit as you would have to overwrite the white away kit. But the kits look much better with the improved colours.

Keep checking on the PES6 PS2 option files thread, as i will upload it there very soon!

Oh btw i had a thought, It might be a good idea to include Hibernian again from the Scottish Premier League in this update. Its because when i play ML in The Barclays Premier League i tend to choose the extra Scottish sides e.g Celtic, Rangers and Hearts to fill the gap in Division 2 along with the 4 remaining Premier League Sides. So that you dont have to use say Anderlecht etc, witch makes it look odd somewhat. Just a thought....

Hi everyone, I've just become aware of P&G's awesome OF in the last few weeks, having just bought WEPES 2007 after hearing how rubbish PES 2008 is (at least for PS2). I've only done name edits on my own in the previous games (WE 6 through 9) using the name edit files on gamefaqs (many props to the creators of those files).

I found the info about P&G's Ultimate OF there, and also want to thank pategato for answering my questions there about max drives and iMacs, etc. I've ordered a max drive, so in the meantime I'm reading up on option files. I came across the pesgaming threads when I G**gled "Pategato and Goalgerd" so I figured I'd better sign up here and get more info about the Ultimate OF.

I'm quoting Craney91 because on the gamefaqs I had asked pategato about how I would go about replacing Hearts with Internacional Porto Alegre and he mentioned that I could find them in the v2.5 OF... well now I'm leaning the other way, having read here what Craney91 says about adding Hibernian, that would be great to have a Master League with all British teams (I'm a Newcastle fan)... and since Craney91 has done so much work in the update, perhaps he could help with one wee team change? Anderlecht isn't in the CL this year, and Brugge is already gone, so... ;-)

If that can't be done, then I could try changing it on my own on the PS2, or somehow get the Hibernian team only from the v2.5, though is it possible to bring in only one team from a previous OF into a new OF on my own? (apologies in advance for the "noob" question)

btw, my avatar will be set to "n00b" until I get the hang of all this, and stop asking noob questions, at which point I'll change it to something cool like goalgerd's Shamrock Rovers badge... just so you know, goalgerd, I actually cared about them getting back to Eircom Premier League! I hope they get the new stadium soon...

From reading this thread, I'm looking forward to playing Winning Eleven the way it should be played... with a P&G option file.

Thanks for quoting me dude about adding Hibernian, so that we could enjoy a more british style ML ;). We could achieve this in P&G's V2.5 OF as they had included the extra scottish team to the file, but in the Ultimate OF they removed Hibs and included another team. (I cant remember exactly wich one they were replaced by).

Im not going to be making a WEPES2007 purely because, i havent got that version. I have only been extensively working on PES6 since there last release. If you had PES6 i would think about adding Hibernian in my OF with your help. But like i said, because you have a different version i wont be able to make this neccesary, sorry ;).

(BTW FOLKS, I HAVE WORKED ON THE FILE EVEN MORE :), IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO STOP WORKING ON IT AS SO MANYTHINGS CHANGE IN THE WORLD OF FOOTBALL. US OPTION FILE MAKERS 'N' CREATORS TRY TO GIVE YOU THE GAMER, A BETTER AND MORE REALISTIC EXPERIANCE DURING PLAY.)

THATS WHY I STILL PLAY PES6 WITH P&G'S OPTION FILE. BECAUSE I NEVER GET BORED OFF PLAYING PES6 WITH THIS OPTION FILE. IT IS BY FAR THE BEST AROUND AND MOST UPTODATE.

I dont really like talking about my OF in P&G's thread its abit rude.

I have updated the boots myself today cause those were the only thing i had left to do. I was waiting to hear from Goalgerd weather or not i could copy the boots off there upncoming update. But from what your saying they aint gonna bother making it. I dont know for certain if they are gonna make another, but regardless of that. They have said its ok for me to release my individual file if i wanted to as long as i mention the part they played also.

TO EVERY1 IT MAY CONCERN, I WILL BE RELEASING MY FILE TOMORROW (14th November). AT AROUND 10PM UK TIME, IT WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY FOR PES6 AND IT WILL BE IN, Max. file, Xport file and PC file.

I WILL BE CREATING A THREAD IN THE PES6 OF FORUM CONTAINING THE FILE AND DETAILS ABOUT IT TOMORROW EVENING OR ALTERNATIVELY. I CAN SEND IT YOU VIA YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS OR MSN TODAY AS I HAVE FINISHED IT.

Its not just you who has asked that question, it begins to get annoying when the same question is asked over and over again about them making a PES2008 OF for the PS2 when its already been answered on numerous occasions in this thread.

Thanks for the info Craney91! Hmmm, tough choice... I could go with the v2.5 since it has Hibernian, Hearts, *and* Internacional, or I could go with the Ultimate OF, for all the current season info...

About the PES6 only, no problems, man. That PES/WE disparity has always annoyed me. I suppose they do it because the PS2 itself has different configurations for each major market, and want to have a different set of teams for each one, but it can be a b**ch sometimes since files for one don't work with files for another. Guess that's the reason for getting a kick-a** PC, though ;-) I could edit the s**t out of the game and not worry about all the other platforms!

And I agree about the continued postings about PES2**8, just takes a little reading of the thread to get the answer! I made sure to read this one from the start, since I wanted to know as much as possible about the OF before asking a question. I've put a title line to try and help with this... though they'd have to read it, wouldn't they... :-|

Too bad pategato & goalgerd didn't release this new update cuz their files were always WE2007 (US version) compatible. Any chance of this happening?
