I can't understand how so many people have problems registering. I'd love to help but I haven't a clue.

hiya.i still cant get online.i have the ps2 network adapter,broadband,a ps2,a tv,max memory card,a controller,i goto the network on the title page on pes5.i accept the terms.i load my settings from my men card.i then log in with my details.proevo_15021975 and enter my password.it then goes to the main screen where it says.

i choose a quick match because i have a urge to so how this baby works.it locates someone to play me.match found.it shows there mane and some stats of theres wins losses draws and if there amatuer or pro.it then goes to pick teams.we choose our teams then change our players/formations with a countdown timer starting around 100.this is when it says CONNECTION LOST.
what am i doing wrong.
is it because i havent registered with central station on the network disc?????.somebody please help me.

Is it an original copy of PES5? Have you tried going into the match lobbies?

yeah its a origional.im unsure what to do in the match lobbys.do i just go in and wait or do i go in and then challenge someone.i'll have another crack at it tonight at 2100 ish if the ball n chain has gone to bed.its just so frustrating cause it takes an age to set up then the lost conection comes up and you have to start again from scratch.would really add a whole new dimension to gaming for me tho.
ive been told to fix my problem, i need someone to register for me online. It's because i have a modchip.

Yeah go into the lobbies and see what happens. If you can change servers and lobbies without any problems then either create a room or challenge someone. I can't understand why it won't work.

tried in the lobbys last night and managed to go on one and got a game against a team called double trouble they picked england and kicked off and ran towards my goal the ball went out for a corner then it said lost connection.the clock said 1minute and so many seconds.so i lost 3-0.this is so shite.i aint going to bother any more.

I can only imagine that your modem still isn't setup properly. I know other people have been having trouble with the BT Voyager 205 modem but you seem to have it setup ok until you actually play a game. You could pm some of the users earlier in this thread with the same modem as you to check their settings against yours. From about post #50 on I think.
By the way, if any other people are having trouble registering for PS2 and need a username and password setup - pm me and I'll sort it out a.s.a.p. and PM you back - I won't be emailing the details so you'll have to log back in to get online.

Hello gentlemen
I finally bought my own copy of PES5 on the PC and was looking forward to getting a "tanking" by an experienced player..but.......
...I can't get online.I keep getting the message....
"Unable to transmit using UDP port 5730"
"You may need to connect directly to internet or adjust blah,blah,blah..."
My firewall ok's connection
So what am i doing wrong?

Right, I got all the online shit today, set it all up, registered the account etc. but when I go to play PES5 online it won't accept my password/handle. Is this because Sony haven't sent me my PIN code yet? If so, when should I be expecting it.

Hi, I got my Network adaptor to play PES5 on line, I am on Blueyonder and I am in the middle of setting the adaptor up, but I can not find my DNS address, where can I find it?

Theres no option to let it automatically find it, Its asking me for my Primary and Secondary DNS address tho?

bought a cable from GAME yesterday and ive plugged into my ps2 then into my pc but it still says that the cable is not connected and i cant plug it into my modem cos its shit and dosent have a big enough connection so im really annoyed can someone help apprantly ive gotta confugure my router via pc before connection! i dno how to do that omg how newbie do i seem!

Everything is official but i'm getting the same message all the time of "unable to register"! Everything is over 8 characters long(username and password) but it doesn't give you much else to go on, apart from the fact itwon't friggin work!
Looking at this forum can any kind sole set one up for me and email it to [email protected]
I will be very grateful as I can't find anyway else round it
