why?

why everytime i use this - i cannot save in master league it crashes next time i load it.... i have to delete the save all the time.

mine does that too mate, sometimes i have to wait a while and select my memory card first. it could be the write protect switch too maybe? although im not sure. try waiting a while, it happens to me most times

I've managed to get the option file loaded but it seems like only the club teams have changed and all the national teams are the same as before :(

Am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be much appreciated guys!

In my game (WE9 INT NTSC-N.America Xbox), I can't edit the names/emblems, & sometimes kits for most of the officially licensed teams (Real Madrid for instance; the options are just "grayed-out"). Not sure if this is the case for PES too.

Even when i boot up my game w/o any option file loaded, I still can't edit teams like Villarreal etc.

How did he change this? How can I fix it?

(I know I can use the "save data management" feature to copy aspects of another option file over to this Watson file but the names & kits copy simultaneously so I would lose the Watson kits to get the amended names...)

Okay here we go, I downloaded the option file, and this is what the max drive file looked like.....



Then I took the max drive out of the PC and tput it into my PS2, waited a while like you said then selected the max-drive icon from my devices and this is what heppened.......



Nothing there.

But I noticed when I selected my memory card that a little magnifie glass comes up as it loads all the data but that doesnt even come up when I select the Max-drive.



When it was working the file would look ike this....



But now they look like this......



And the actuall file itself was called something to do with max drive but its called Removable disk (J)

PLEASE HELP!!!

Does anyone know how I would go about using DKZ studio to edit the team names of Venezuela to Trinidad & Tobago and the other old teams to there new teams in the option file?

I've ftp'd some of the files on my xbox to my PC but I can't find the .dbl file's that I think I need to edit things such as team names etc...
I've had a search and a scan on here, but not found any guides or help that fill me in on what I need to know.

Wow. This sounds like a great optional file. Helluva lot of work. I have WE9(USA) with Superpatch 3.0 and kitserver 5.1 I believe. Will installing this option file mess up my kitserver kits? Thanks. Giggs

Hi I have WE9 (USA) for ps2 and psp, but now that I got a new computer, I'm gonna get it for PC tomorrow. I always wanted to do all this option file stuff, but I couldn't with the ps2 or psp, and I always had to edit everything by myself and it would take forever, even though I bought a Max Drive that I used to put an option file that I had downloaded of the internet that messed up my memory card:(

So anyways, I've been hearing a lot of good things about this option file and I really want to know how to use it for Winning Eleven 9 (USA) PC version, so I won't do anything wrong and mess up my game:)

The FAQ tells you all :)

Giggs- you'll have to default every kit in edit mode but other than that it will be fine

Nah dont do that just download PESfan editor so you can edit the option file and just import the players from one OF to another simple as that

Watson, great work btw! A couple of requests though. Could you add Corinthians into the option file somehow, and also incoperate more south american club teams plz for V3. Cheers

There is a site somewhere that has ALL the corinthians stats and appearences, the kits are over at pesfan.Ill go and get the links now ;).
P.S So then you can make them...

Ok I just got the game and I'm already having trouble putting this option file into my game :(

I already read your FAQ and everything, but I still don't know what I am I doing wrong. I go to My Documents >KONAMI >Winning Eleven 9 >save >folder 1 and this is where I copy the file, but when I load up the game, it just tells me to write a username and it loads up the option file and I got to match mode and everything looks the same and nothing had changed.

Can someone please help me?

Anyone have the solution to my previous question?
...I want to know how to go one step further, find and edit the database file on my xbox, then edit that with DKZ or whatever so that the team names get changed rather than Trinidad being Venezuela etc.
