Alternative Way of scoring thru a Freekick

true a goal is a goal but that ways just somthing i don't lower too i just see that as a noob goal lol ... tho you never know what you maybe tempted to do at 2-1 or 1-1 with seconds left lol

A noob goal? Oh come on. Whatever works (as well as it isn't a bug exploit), surely. On the other hand, curling free kicks into the top corner does look impressive.

Anyone good on the team i'm using, from edge of box to 25m a use left foot on right side and vice versa and either aim stright for the goal and press square then hold up and x about half way or aim towards center of goal and curl away from keeper. 25m+ using the same left foot right foot thing, layed of from the wing side and press up r1 and which ever side your on the direction you want to curl the hold x to make it dip. Dejan is best at that one.

TWO QUICK TIPS:

1. i have found with penalties that if you hold L2+direction+shot this sort of does a shot fake (player looks to direction where you are holding to fool the keeper) then all you have to do is put it opposite side... used to hate penalties before i found this out. make sure you switch off/on your manual tactics afterwards though

2. if you want to reduce the power in your shots look at the manual, for example holding down triangle (thru ball button) while the shot power bar is on disply results in a weakened shot.

After playing many games on PES5, I’ve just discovered a much easier way of scoring from a Freekick. It does not matter whether the freekick is direct or indirect. It works better if the freekick is around the fringe of the penalty box. During the freekick, players willl be darting around besides the wall, just aim directly at those players. The moment you see your player directly in front of your aim, press the button X and quickly the square button. Your player will unleash a shot immediately upon receiving the pass.. Lately I have tried the method 5 times and the success rate was encouraging. 3 shots landed at the back of the net with 2 balloned across the crossbar. Perhaps I need to press the down button to lower the shot. Give this a try.

that is what i call a right DIRT goal and it pisses me off so much when people do it online!
