Am I Missing a Trick in MLO?

I can't understand how some people have got such good teams and squads already on MLO?!

Not only that but I also cannot understand how this contract system works. For example I brought Sturridge - a decent but not great player. His contract renewal every 10 games is about £1.1m. Therefore if I need to renew my 11 starting players every 10 games who are just average players, it will still cost me £10-12m.

If it were Messi, Ronaldo, etc they are £3m+ every 10 games!

The problem I have is that even with the myPES £300k bonus I'm only making approx £1m per game, so my money will be used up constantly just renewing my 11 players contracts. Surely that can't be right?! How am I ever going to buy anybody else?

You can release crappy players and you get about 400,000 each time. I've released about 7 or 8 players.

Yeah but eventually that will run out.

What I am saying is that if you are only earning approx £1m per game and it costs £12-15m every 10 games to renew the contracts of 11 players, then you will eventually run out of money. That's just average players aswell, not your Messi's and Ronaldo's.

Something is hugely flawed with this setup.

You get extra prize money for winning online tournaments. You most likely do get more money just for progressing far in online comps.

Just wondering, what happens if you have no money and lose players? Is it game over? Do you have to start again?

I don't know why alot of people are having trouble raising funds for their team. I played less than 230 games and i'm pretty much done building my team. Although I don't have the speed merchants because I'm not a cheeser, I do have gerrard, van der vaart, sneijder, Suarez, carroll.
Maybe people just aren't winning enough?

the french and german copys came out same day as fifa 12 ,and to add matters worse the rest are all flashed xboxs with the french and german copys ..so they have had a full 2 weeks head start!!!

I'm getting about 3 million per win right now. As you buy better players, your gate receipts increase.

I agree, I refuse to buy any of the same 20 players I see every single match...

I did have a laugh today as I played a guy with the stock team plus Messi and CR. However, it looked like he was on hard times as both players were out of contract and had to sit! I was determined to make sure he wouldn't be getting any extra cash from me to reinstate them....Easy win....

take some time to calculate how the system works - i have a good idea now - and some plans to make extra money etc.

The biggest mistake i made was to discard most of my default players straight away - THIS IS A MISTAKE. I wont explain why because you need to figure it out.

Can anyone confirm that playing in cups gives you extra money? I don't mean winning. Just getting to a QF for instance.

Anyone got any tips on how you can earn some more money.

btw that's exactly what I've done. I released a load of my default players and now I only have a squad of 20. I may have screwed things up I'm not sure.

Releasing your default squad isn't a bad thing, it's just moving on. If you replace them with better players and keep in fact that you still have to make money!

by releasing them right away you're basically throwing away millions worth of contracts.

I'm not saying release them while they can still play, that would be silly. But once their contract is over, you should ask yourself who's worth spending money by offering a new contract.

Because money makes the world go around. Also in PES MLO.

their is no trick just gotta win games draws and loses arent good enouth your only be able to just keep your club afloatto win money farster need to play cup games as they are 5 min games money buils up farster but winning overall is they key if you dont win you cant buy simple! gotta keep an eye out for players who inprove your squad gradually dont going buying 1 superstar and sticking him up frony wont get you no wearas all your play will depend on one player!! look for players like frimpong whos like 700,000 cheap but slightly betterthan way your got and try spread it round the whole team this will benefit the long term their is no floor tothe system you simply earn the the players if your skill level is good enouth by winning games and cups

of course, the majority of the default players are useless after their contract expires. however there are a few like ruskin or jaric, who should stay in the team for a while

the trick is essentially to rotate your team the best way you can.
You start with a lot of players, select the 15/17 you want to use and sell the others.
With a few games you can buy the first good player like I did.
The secret of this MLO is the rotation of squad.. if you have and use a lot of different players your € will increase and the games in the players legs won't be so hard!

The key is to sign 50 match contracts whenever possible as that will save you a fair amount of money compared to renewing 5 times at the cost of 10 games.

Once you have about 7-8 players on 50 game contracts, you can build a little bit of cash up without the worry of renewing contracts every other game.

Hey, could you elaborate on this? If I use more players (ie sub on players) do I get more money? I'd try myself but for most of my matches I don't have any subs available (right now just one of the default gk's).

This isn't really they key unless you will be playing 50 matches in the next day or 2, as you will end up with players who are out of form for 20-30 weeks = waste of money.
