do amazon deliver pre ordered items on realase date? has anyone pre ordered something there and got it on realase date? cheers :)

I get things on release date 95% of the time from both Amazon and Play. The other 5% is made up of the occasional postal delay meaning I get a game on Saturday and the occasional early arrival.

My delivery of Windows 7 Ultimate from Amazon is estimated by them to be with me on Thursday, release day.

I get things by release from Amazon as well. And i live in Denmark, so that's pretty impressing. Play.com is also great i think.

It said earlier on Thursday that the 24-hour strikes will begin on 22 October. On the first day, mail centre staff and drivers will strike. The next day it will be delivery and collection staff.

play.com sometimes send pre-ordered items out 3 days before release, so if your lucky, you could get your post the 20st (tuesday), ive have multiple games delivered from play.com 3 days before release..
