hi, im mario olguin, from MEXICO and i have a question;
when is konami going to realese the update for PES? ive seen that in europe 2 updates have been realesed and theres a third update coming soon (v1.30) but how is that possible? since weve only recived one update and it was ver1.1 i mean i belive that we (NORTH AMERICAN GAMMERS) deserve the same treat as the europe and japan users, since we spent the same amount of money for the game

another thing too, i belive that the PES GAME is the best soccer game around, i mean way better than fifa, but i think the PES creators, need to pay more atention for NORTH AMERICA, i mean put in more teams for example a MEXICAN LEAGUE or at least some temas, and more temas from all the AMERICAN CONTINENT.

other than that the game is great , but please, PLEASE, take the AMERICAN CONTINENT MORE IN CONSIDERATION.

I have just sent an e-mail to KONAMI asking them about the v1.20 update for America and I also asked them about something as important as the update. I told them that we Americans are ignored since in Europe they have officials events, rankings, and other stuff and we don't. How is that possible? How difficult is it to create a website with rankings system and make it official I mean, what is the KONAMI branch in America for?

Dear Konami,


Why are you even giving us(the western hemisphere) the v1.20 update for the game, when Europe is getting v1.30 which has all the February transfers and updated stats. I believe you should forgo v1.20 for this region and focus on getting us the newest update. And why has it taken so long for this region to even get updates. EU got the v1.20 update back in November and we are now in the middle of February and you want to give us a 4 month old update now? What kind of sense is that? With this kind of screw up you're going to make a lot of loyal and hardcore followers of you brand spend more money to get an European or Asian version of the game just so they can have the current updates. I think I speak for most NA PES gamers when I say thank you for giving us the game during the same calender year as EU/Asia but then we get penalized with shoddy DLC service. I love your game and not only do I consider it the best soccer game I can even say it's one of the better sports game on the market in general, but you're going to turn off a lot of your customers in this hemisphere by not giving us equal treatment like the rest of the world. And please don't reply with the automated "v.120 update is coming to NA in a couple of weeks" because I'm not asking about that I want some type of human response. Konami as a whole is supposed to be a respected company but you in my opinion you have gone down a peg by giving this region the short end of the stick.

As far as I'm concerned, the patch version 1.20 has got nothing to do with Sony because the patch isn't released via the PSN Store. It's Konami's fault for not releasing the patch for all versions of PES2009.

I'm 99% sure that it will work if you get the EU version of PES. THere are some people in USA that did that. Most likely I'll be doing the same thing, once PES 2010 comes out, why? (updates, lol)

I've been thinking about waiting just for PES 2010, but if i can still get my money back from '09, then why not get a UK version and play my friends over in Poland.
