I think that some people in this forum are taking things to the extreme, saying the the south american leagues suck is just wrong all you have to do is to check the statistics of the inter continental finals in Tokio and you will see that they are pretty much even and in the 99's clubs world cup the champion was a brazilian team (Vasco) and I am not sure but I think that 3 out of the last four were teams from latin america. All that and working with a fraction of the budget that the big european clubs have.
Yes, and IF Figo, Zidane, Beckham, Giggs and Henry would play for Portsmouth they would win the Champions League.
So the point is, if they returned the South American teams would be unstoppable, but the reason why they don't return is that actually South American leagues are weak. And that's what we're talking about, about the up to date strenght, and not what teoretically would happen if some players from Europe would join the South American teams.

Just to clarify something...
there is a little thing call WORLD CUP that is played every 4 years and start long ago, in that tournament south america(center and north america are a different soccer confederation) have more cups than europe so i really dont understend where the europeans get that they are betters just becouse they have more money and can buy almost all the best players in the world for their clubs, that dosn´t mind that there are no good clubs in the rest of the world, the point with boca is that if that team where so weak like some people proclaim here it would be imposible for then to beat milan like they did last year, and real madrid 4 years before, i think that is ridiculuos the inclusion of more european teams that are not even good, the best ones are already in the game so wait not put some good ones from the rest of the world, i mean the game is not call "champions league" or something like that, i think is unfair that only europeans teams get into the game but lucky for us wi have 2 spaces for editing, and for the guy than name all good europeans players like if that mind something, sorry to tell you than the last world cup is right here in brasil and the last side in europe to win a world cup was a mix euro/africa where the only euro great player that appear was zizu, the rest of the group that you name are ok but that´s it, is not like if where 4 zidanes in europe or something like that, there´s zizu and the rest, and for my taste i prefer ronaldo and if a remember well hi is from brasil and not europe, if you check the amount of southamerican players in europe(even in the big clubs), is clear that the theory of the low level of the clubs are ridiculous, kaka, crespo, samuel or ronaldo for name a couple or players came from southamerican clubs and not from europe, and dont get me wrong, i respect the european football a lot but a think konami is making a mistake with the election of the clubs, in the game there should the the best teams from europe without a doubt, but also the best clubs from the rest of the world, i think that the theory of "lest put the best ones of europe... and the crapy ones too just becouse they are europeans" is a shame, i mean if this where an european game it would be logic but beeing a japanese game a really dont get the point to only include european clubs, i really dont get it, i mean in a recent interview someone ask what happen with the southamerican clubs and the guy answer that in japan they only know boca so the desicion was justified... ¿and who knows half of the teams included in the game?, i think that this will be corrected in the next versions, if this nos change, wi can always edit what wi won, there are good editors around and they are prety easy to use. I`m not gonna even finish your stupid little essay - it`s getting boring ! I`ll tell you what. You write a letter to Konami, and complain about not having S.A teams in WE/PES games. However, I do think that you deserve to play FIFA instead of WE/PES games that are strictly made for European and Asian regions. And the another thing that is bothering me is this forum contains Europeans by 95%. So when you come in here like that with your lousy 2 posts and "insult" all of us with your stupid Boca Juniors, and all it`s getting us nowhere. I honestly think FIFA 2004 is a good game for you. You`ll love it alot.

In addition "International version" is NOT applied to the teams BUT to the fact that the menus are in different languages now, otherwise the game would be called Final Evolution. That´s the ONLY reason why it´s called "international", you should better inform you the next time when you want to discuss with someone

American teams just aren't worth of replacing good European ones...there are plenty more European teams who would be further up the queue for being added to the game before American teams.
I'm not being biased here, but just look at the quality of players in Middlesbrough for example compared to an American team....Zenden, Mendieta, Juninho, Southgate, Mills, Queudrue, Maccarone, Job...
