god the games only bin out a week and its awready got its heavy critics!

i didnt take to pes 2009 at first bt even up till a few weeks ago it kept me going back. i played pes 2009 on top level and won(mostly). 2010 im finding regular too easy and pro a bit too hard but give it time lads. a bit of practice, and a bit of getting used to the changes, konami have given us a gem once again!!

no more dribbling to the bye line with ronaldo or messi to cut back and tap in... come on admit it?! we all done it! lol!

i found pes 2010 a bit frustrating at first but am slowly realising it is much better than its predecessor. goals from 25/30 yards are once again a reality rather than a lottery. and turning your man and gaining a yard takes that wee bit extra skill. surely thats a good thing?

online ive found there is very little lag. the worst thing about 2009 was the guy online who couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo suddenly finding himself one on one.... 5 times a game!!! lol

i enjoyed fifa's 10v10 option.. maybe thats one thing thats missing from pes2010... but hey we're still front runners by a long shot. this game is a diamond!!!!

and celtic are hopeless in it... come on how realistic is that!! lol

Nah, I've scored and conceded some &%$* up goals via the retardedness of the AI, it's a huge improvement but, needs to make bigger strides next year!

Its a massive improvement over last year's game but there are still problems. The biggest, and therefore most annoying, is the refs. They don't give penalties/free kicks for clear fouls and a very inconsistent with red/yellow cards.

However, much to my delight, it is harder to score in the new game. In previous games I have been able to beat the likes of Man Yoo and Barca with Kidderminster Harriers (I create them every year lol) by about 13/14 goals. I even once won a game 43-0. That being said, I have had some unrealistic score lines (such as a 10-9 win).

Some player ratings/stats seem a bit off as well. For some reason, Ferdinand seems much faster than Messi :shocking: (I haven't had a chance to check out what their actual stats are for speed and acceleration as I don't own a copy of the game yet and have just played a few games on my gf's brother's copy lol).

the refs seem to be the biggest problem this time round. hopefully a patch can sort this? otherwise i reckon its the best once again. played a bit of fifa earlier, and while its not as shit as it used to be its still miles behind pro... in my opinion... tho konami would do well to steal some of there ideas... such as 10v10
