I know that this is for the newer games, but I thought it would be quite good to share a bit of my experience. When running down the wing with a play with quite high shot accuracy, press the shoot button for a long time and the goalie is caught off his line and you can score an easy goal. It is easier to score if you do it when you are only about 5 paces past the halfway line.

I apologise to everyone right now for putting advice for the old games, but its well worth it for anyone who hasn't bought PES4 yet.

(I have bought PES4 btw and am now 14 seasons through my masters league session!)

yeah this is quite old news mate but will be good for noobs ive scored a 45+yarder with gravesen while the keeper was off his line

this is not new to most people. i have scored 52 metre goals in gazillions on pes3. in pes4 you need to use more brains. you have to pay attention more to where is the keeper and shoot immediately because as you get forward he moves a step back everytime. if you press [] to the full and after the ball has left the player's foot you press R1 you maybe, i repeat, maybe, have a chance of scoring. i use different combinations of shots but never from that far away. where's the class? :)

I have scored a few times from in my own half on PES4. Just look at where the goalie is and if you have a player with sufficient shot power and accuracy you stick every chance of scoring. More often than not if the keeper does get back into his goal you should get a corner when he pushes it over the bar.
