Analog or D-pad?

Choose one, explain why.

The d-pad gives u a lot more control of the object(player/car e.t.c..)
However it does give me a sore thumb after a while so that's why i try to make myself use the stick.

P.S with this sort of thread it's quite good to sometime's have a poll

I personally prefer D-pad also because it stops the player better. Sry, tried making a poll but don't work.
