Heh, didn't even notice the post by the palace fanker.

I've been using analogue since the end of April. Seems to work better for me.

Just can't make the move over to Analogue, d-pad feels the most natural for me. Don't think it gives anyone an advantage it's about what's more comfortable for you.

I only ever use analog in games where you have no choice, i find it really uncomfortable and unreliable.

What control type is better? i prefer using the the digital to run but the analog is much better at directing shots. Analog definatley from set pieces though!

I started off years ago playing PES with d-pad, but made the switch to stick and haven't looked back since. Twisting, turns, skills & shooting feels more fluid with analogue, not even attempted to try a Zidane turn with the d-pad. Having said that, after a few hours, the PS2 sticks are more slippery than a greased nipple. I reckon Xbox analogue sticks will piss on the PS2's for control, the Xbox pad pisses on the PS2 pad full stop but I guess that's a totally seperate thread.
