i recently purchased nicolas anelka as a makeshift striker to fill in when my main strikers are fatigued but to my amazement he has turn out to be one of my favourite strikers on the game. Finishing from him is top class.

has anyone else purchased a striker who has performed above your expectations and if yes who?

sorry i havnt purchased him but Darren Bent is proving to be my best striker Robbie Keane cant score but Bent is provin to be very very good and can get me out of the shit aswel :)

i just bought bent in the window of the third season to add some pace to my front line in my push for the league. scored two on his debut and is going at nearly a goal a game into the final 3rd.

i also got larssons regen!

However good Anelka is on the game he is ten times better in really life as all you United fans found out on Saturday.

I got him as well. Stats don't grow too well & i don't think i can wait for his late career surge...

I bought Mido in 1st window for feck-all & he has scored well every season. Currently the 3rd highest overall after 3 seasons.

Top assist goes to Seoul Ki Hyun (sp?). Play him as attacking left & Mido gets something on virtually every cross.

He has been my top ML scorer since PES4...

PES4, PES5, PES6 and now PES2008...
