Hi Guys
Just after we all thought Konami had pulled their thumb out of their ass and fixed the last of the issues in PES360 online that regularly screwed the decent player over, a new bug has reared its ugly head which is causing joy for the cheats and a mighty angry feeling for the guys that just want to play football.
At any point if the player on the ball kicks it out of play during the match, and then IMMEDIATELY quits the match (Probably by switching off their console), the game will as normal give you a message telling you the opponent has quit the match. Now in the past this meant an easy win and points added, usually with the satisfaction that you were handing out such a beating that the other guy just couldn’t cope with it.
Remember the player has to quit as son as the ball crosses the line no sooner no later
If this is done now the game will no longer take a win off the opponent nor will it give you a win a loss or a draw. At the same time you will receive no points for the match and if you check your match history the game will show up as a nil- nil. Also any winning streaks will remain unaffected like the match had never taken place.
This is really annoying as I’ve had this happen to me on three different occasions now over the past few days when I was wining a game hoping to improve upon my ranking, and had to just sit there as the guy on the other end pulls this trick of a bug on me.
This didn’t used to happen before the last patch which seems to have dealt with the pause menu bug and game freeze defect but is probably caused as a direct result of the fix and unfortunately it seems more people are becoming aware of it.
I don’t want to sound like I’m blowing my on horn but I work for one of the big game companies in the QA department so I see this type of thing every day with developers causing more issue trying to fix a major bug by direct patch. Let’s hope Konami give pro 7 a good solid 6 months of test this year hey.
