Peter you might be familiar with this as I'm sure you've stumbled across Newcastle-Online before.

Possibly just a section when members get banned, there's a topic stating the reasoning behind it and for how long.

Well we do currently have a banned members area... where they can plead their case to admins and discuss why they have been banned. I don't really think it's worth making it public, but if enough people want it...

The only reason it got made private was because people kept spamming the thread and it served as a way for a banned member to keep posting almost as if they weren't banned in the first instance.

is there a way to make non banned use view it but being able to post in it.

I was thinking in a non responsive thread though, just a reasoning behind the ban and for how long. Then the thread is automatically locked so no one can respond.

They'll get banned again as the Admins can check IPs

(just so the admins know this wasn't so i could get banned multiple time and attempt to corrupt the site )
