Any info on PES6 release for PS3?

Wondering if there was any new info of the PS3 version of PES6 and Winning Eleven for that matter. Obviously it wont come out in october like it is for other formats as the PS3 launches in november, but does this have a chance of PES6 being a launch title? I heard it is coming out to PS3 around january, not too far away from launch, but is there any confirmation of this and a reason for this? And if it is coming out later, does this mean the PS3 version could be better still than other formats such as the 360 version, as it could include january transfers, or give more teams and edit modes because the fact it has increased disc space and much greater power than previous generations? I'm still wondering about this so can anyone help me out, or is it still too early to tell? Thanks

According to Seabass he is only going to release PES6 on 360, so if you want it on PS3 you will have to wait till' PES7. And do not make the mistake that the PS3 is more powerful than 360 as it isn't and if it is, it is very marginally. So I wouldn't get your hopes up as it probably won't come out for the PS3.

I know, thats why I said previous generations, i'm not an idiot and make that kind of statement. I'm still not sure about the release though. When did Seabass say this? link?

I don't have a link but it is in an interveiw with Xbox 360 World Magazine, he said he will make it the best it can possibly be and that he won't bring the series to the PS3 untill PES7, i will scan it if you would like.

Personally, if I worked for Konami I would keep any release on the PS3 close to my chest for the obvious reason that most of us that use the PS2 will be looking to upgrade to the PS3 ignoring the 360 totally, thus we buy PES6 in October and just a few weeks later we are upgrading to the PS3, and although we can still play PES6 on our new more powerful machines, we want to at least see what it can do, so we are waiting in high anticipation for the release of PES6, or PES 2007 for the PES3, maybe in January it is released and well all buy the new version, so in the space of a few months we have doubled our purchase. To even suggest that the new gen version would be released shortly after the console would mean large numbers not bothering with PES6 on the PS2 and as a result lost revenue.

As for thinking that a later released game would include any January transfers, I can only think you must be new to the game!

Owww I wish it would just come out on the PS3 as well, oh well I guess there are other games we can look forward to on the PS3. I will just get on with it on my PS2, its not that bad really and the gameplay won't feel any different than it does on the current gen consoles. So i'm happy. :)

To be honest, i can't see PES6 coming out on the PS3 at all. The PS3 will already be a year behind its initial release date and knowing Sony it could go back further (there are rumoured problems with the console). I think Konami will play it safe and put all their efforts into PES7 on the PS3.

I'm going to get a 360 anyway because i don't think its going to be all that inferior to the PS3. 3 months to go to PES6 - come on!

the truth is... pes 6 will be on both ps2 and xbox 360, obviously the 360 wwill be better graphics, pes 7 will be the first pes for ps3 i know iv read reviews, and ps3 WILL have better graphics than xbox 360, its just facts i dont support any console, but ps3 will look better on an hd than an xbox 360, but if you ask me gamepklay comes before graphics

pes 6 wil be an uptaded version of we10.
in an interview with the creators, seabasss said that pes 6 will have no dodgy goal keepers and that we10 was far too easy to score goals.

Reviews from expert mentioned that the 2 consoles haven't got a big differences that's significant to be noticed. Current makers of the games for next gen console haven't been pushing the console to the limit as well.. it may take years to notice the difference when technology allow developers to push the console's hardware to their maximum capability...

Looking forward to the excellent graphics and gameplay from konami, burning fifa to ashes!!!

You guys are jumpin the gun, IMO. Im going to wait and see which system yields the game with the least amount of gripes, then I'll decide on a system. I only play sports games, so I can do such things without regreting buying one system, because Ive missed out on some crazy exclusive RPG on the other.
