Any Official roster update news yet?

im like a few in this thread dont care that much about stupid stuff like goalie gloves(worst suggestion ever) but to release a football game almost 2 months after the transfer deadline without the correct transfers is a complete joke. i h8 goin bac to fifa comparisons but it was released 1 month after deadline and had all transfers up to date, they had an extra 20 odd days and cudnt do it, its now november and they still avnt released a roster update, and this stuff about there bein extras is a joke. extras or not, get the squads right when the game comes out or get an update out on release day, anything else is totally unacceptable.

If you're brand new to PES and you buy the new game, what are you going to think? Ok, you'll perhaps understand about the (lack of) licensing but you'll have the case in you hand which proudly displays the Europa League logo but where the hell is it in the game? I know it's in ML but not everyone gets into that and I reckon a fair few people don't play it at all.

Right, can't find Europa League so I'll go on Champions League. Oh, I can't play Lyon vs Liverpool in Exhibition...

Then there's all the missing transfers...

The fake teams in Other Teams A... La Liga has some teams I've never heard of, etc....

We know that the update should sort all this out but what does your average punter make of it? Not a lot I would think. Konami gets enough flack as it is but they don't half make it difficult for themselves.

The most annoying part is that they have left us with no info or date for the update. Last year they did.
If its true that all the wait for the next patch is because of the new licensed teams, then Konami is REALLY stupid. They should've at least release a patch with updated transfers on the same day of release, and then took their time for the new teams and whatnot. As some people pointed out, the ML is unplayable because of the out of date rosters.
On a side note, since they are taking forever in releasing the new patch, I hope that they'll at least fix the laughable referees. 1991's Kick Off had better referees.

The patch is taking forever because there's a massive chance, if not a naild on certainty, that there will be more boots, balls and stadiums released with it which is taking time but tbh they should of prepared it months ago to be released on release day. Which reminds me, wasnt there ment to be an update on the friday or something?

^ I'm echoing the Lyon vs Liverpool question. However, do you think they will fix AI aspects in an update? Never think this has been the case, and don't think they will change the refs in the update.. But we'll never know.

My mistake, you can select any team in Champs League - it just wasn't that obvious (to me anyway... :blush.

Well i certainly don't remember mate. If they fix the reaction times on the patch i'd be happy.

Im having the same problem so im spending my time unlocking all the players ready to start ML but ive only got Ligue 1 to unlock now!(apart from the ML unlockables of course!)
