I downloaded the very useful PSP WE9 option file last week. Thanks to whomever created it. Unfortunately, although it has all the player names in English, it only has half the team names in English, the rest in Japanese. There seems no way of editing team names via the game (the option is greyed out).

Is someone working on an option file by other means which will have English team names. I assume it is possible because half the teams are in English already.

Only non-licenced teams can have details edited. Licenced teams cannot be changed.

I doubt you'll get any option file with english names for the licenced teams. So your options are to patch your game (not sure if this is possible yet) or wait for PES5.
