^Agreed, except that I don't think Fifa is better at all...

I'm from North America though, so we haven't had the game for quite as long.

Yes, I'm still playing PES2009, and am having more fun with it than I have with any previous PES - although that's not entirely due to the gameplay.

Any reason for your asking?

was just wondering...i still play it too.

although i chaged the stats on mine. I felt that pes2009 out of the box overrated the big stars like messi and ibra and ronaldo even rooney. So i made their stats lower and also made many of the defenders a bit better.

yes i am its really good having a created masterleague with the defult players i mean 3 seasons in the d2 league on the 2nd season i got a game over and loaded it realeased a few players had a serious small squad but i brought quincy owusu abeyie and he is one of the best players on the game got me out of the shit came 2nd in the league and now going into D1 league exciting times

I played PES09 for two weeks or three, maybe a month, but after that I haven't even touched the game again. It's just boring and very easy in my opinion. It isn't Football, and it isn't what I expected from Konami.

And it is a bit strange, cause I can't really say that "PES09 is shite" but.. there's something wrong with it, it isn't as addictive as older versions. The controls aren't as good, the movements aren't as fluid, etc, etc..

The PS2 versions of PES6 and PES5 remain the best in my opinion.

I'm Not expecting anything good from PES 2010, but maybe the dropp in sales have forced Konami into taking serious action. Or maybe even, Konami has been working on a New Engine for a few years now, who knows.

Fact of the matter is that if PES 2010 keeps building on PES09 I will not buy it, which means one less customer (among others) for Konami.

I think it makes more sense asking what version of Pro we play here rather than in a World of warcraft forum ;)

I think the question was asked because of all the hype on the internet about the 2009 version being extremely poor blah blah, of course a quick glance through the forums would have answered his question in a matter of seconds.

Though to answer the question. Everyday.. beautified with the gaming access patch and pes stats database option file and loving every minute of it.

I do find a lot of players overrated - particularly if you do what I've done, and create/unlock/recreate a stack of legends, and you see that PES has put modern players on a par with players like Di Stefano and Rep. But it's really made the game fun, and refreshing I would recommend it to anyone.

It's quite simple "Does anybody still play pes2009" he wants to know how many people still play pro evolution soccer 2009 on here, reason why he has posted it on here is because he might be looking for some pro evo 2009answers,

back to the question i'm still playing pro evo 2009 there's alot of things i hate about it but anything is better than fifa, for me it's either play pro evo or don't play any football games.

He he he.... enjoyed that classic Jose Mourinho quote. Ah kinda miss that life lessons talking he used to have. It was like football didn't always matter to him, good attitude I suppose. Anyway back to the question in hand, yes I do still play PES 2009 and enjoy it very much. Sure there are things from it that I want to change and I feel they have dropped things that I want in there... but I do feel that overall its a very good game. If you have a good PC that doesn't have any bugs or glitches it plays really well and very enjoyable game. I mean just compare it to PES 3 or 4. Both very good games but the game has moved on a lot since then! I think I will enjoy PES for a while to come and you just need to be more positive about things and if something isn't wrong make a good suggestion on whats wrong and how they could correct it instead of saying "ah its all broken and I will never play it again." please enlight us why! If there isn't a really good reason behind don't slag it off! Your allowed your opinion but at least back it up a bit!
