Any way of getting PS2 saves on PS3 via MaxDrive??

I've tried, but since the MaxDrive "crushes" the PS2 saves onto the USB flash drive, my PS3 doesn't recognise the files. So i guess the real question is; is there a way to "uncrush" the data already on the USB flash drive?

ps3's ps2 save are a different file format then ps2 so if you got it "uncrush" it properly would not accept it any way.
