Im talking about when taking actual shots in goal , is it possible to curve the shots? The only way I see curves is either a long volley , free kick, or corner.

Its like a lottery, just today i hit a sweeeeeet shot with Daniel Agger outside the area and it swerved in and out in to the top corner.

I think alot depends on how you hit it and the pressure on the player and the players body position, you will come acros a few sooner or later.

Shot power - shot accuracy - shot technique - swerve. Nah? And of course, the physics at the specific moment.

i already knew about the r2 shot. But im talking about powerful strikes that swerve, like in real life.

Basically no. In PES the ball physics arent very realistic so almost all shots etc are straight line, occasionally they'll curl inwards. Only very rarely does it curve outwards and that's only with players who have high curve/shooting stats.

wow. Thats a shame.
I mean I never realy complained about it before but this game is just so damn beautiful that youd think they would have this feature.....

thats like leaving out the fade away in a nba game....

unacceptable

depends what way u hold the directional button in! I keep holding mine down, and the ball goes across the ground!

It also depends what player you are using and it also depends on the body movement of the player and the amount of players in the or or in the player's way.

Powerful shots on free kicks - isn't this just done by pressing ^ ?
I've read something about the triangle button in the manual as well. You may read it to find inspiration.

im not talking about free kicks. Im talking about just normal shots.

It seems everybody is saying " you have to have the right guy" or "you have to be positioned right"...

the excuses suck, and konami need to address this.

I can make swerve shots in real life... and im not the right guy. or positioned the right way.

haha

Arrrggghh. I know exactly what you mean. Pretty much all shots go straight as arrows, no matter how you hit them or who with, so unrealistic. Also i found scoring "R2" curling shots really rewarding in previous versions, but the players no longer "open the body up" when you press R2 in a Henry type fashion. Graphics are good though.
