Let`s get something straight so people can understand this easily..

Winning Eleven 7 - Release date: August 7th, 2003 (Japan release)
Winning Eleven 7: International (Korean Version) - just came out recently ..and this version doesn`t have any updates like in PES3..and it`s even missing some things that are seen in WE7 (Jap Version)
* Winning Eleven 7: International - Release Date : February 19th, 2004 (Japan version) - some people call this version "FE" like WE6:FE, but it`s not really FE since there`s no gameplay improvements..however this version will have all updates (the ones from PES3) and more things unseen in PES3 or WE7.

Now let`s focus on WE7:I (North American Release)

Winning Eleven 7: International - Release date: Possibly February 10th (according what some sites claim) or February 19th.. so what about this version..is it going to be the same as the one that will be released in Japan on Feb 19th ?? or This American version will be same as Korean one.. ??

And WE7:I (Japanese version) will support several languages..let`s clear this out..when KONAMI says support I assume they mean the commentry language not the menus etc..like in FIFA you have English and Spanish if you select Spanish then everything becomes in Spanish, all menus, commentry EVERYTHING.. is this going to be seen in WE7:I (Jap version) or not only the commentry switch..??

look at pro evo 3 my son!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i think thats as far as konami can go on the ps2

look at pro evo and pro evo 2 just a couple of tweaks but pro evo 3 was almost totally different.

i think the pes3 has streached the ps2 to the max if not!!!!!! save this comment and slaughter me come pro evo 4.

We will see, we will see :) I think they can make WE8/PES4 again a lot better then PES3/WE7

Well Ezio you have to make youre own decision. Cause its more a feeling, of course you have some facts but real hard evidence that WE7 is better then PES3 is here not. But I think most people like WE7 more then PES3.

But back Ontopic again!

Well let`s see...PES1 is old, I`m sure you don`t play it anymore..save it for the PES collection, this goes for PES2 too.. PES3 is good so you can play it when you get bored of your GF :D...now WE7 is good..alot of vets, gurus think that WE7 is better than PES3 so you can try playing WE7 more than you play PES3..now WE7:I will be released in a month and a half..I wouldn`t be suprised if they extend the release date.. so far WE7:I will have alot of things that were unseen in PES3 or WE7..like:

- Several languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese ( I`m still not sure if this only applies for commentry or to the whole game )
- Couple of new tricks/moves/animations..
- Gameplay is slightly polished ( This is not 100% confirmed yet )
- Keepers outfits can be changed ..or edited..
- Fake stadium names can be changed to its original names i.e Trad Bricks - Old Trafford
- All roster updates from 2003/04 season.. this means Howard is in Man Utd, C. Ronaldo, Veron in Chelsea.. etc..
- I don`t know if this is true or not someone told me new stadiums as well..
- Nobody knows yet who the sponsor will be for WE7:I. According to a video clip posted by a fella who`s from China , in the begining of the movie Nike logo is shown.. but I`m assuming Adidas Fevernova will be the sponsor.. why don`t they add CL ball since it is an adidas brand..

Things listed above are seen on many web sites that advertise WE7:I such as play - asia . etc.

Mates I'll get it. I own every single one before so why not this one as well.
Also I prefer English over Japanese.

"Will Patch makers all move to WE7I?"

hm, since it comes on DVD, I doubt that it will have patching success like WE7. (same with PES3 unfortinately)

If WE7I is really good it doesnt matter that it is on DVD. I think a lot of people will stuck to WE7 because it arent major improvement like there was in WE6FE. Some handy tweaks but nothing more nothing less.

One of the reason KONAMI didn't call it "FE" is because they(well actually Seabass) kept stating that there will be no FE for WE7.

This was a big thing, since many people used to retain from purchasing the non-FE version,
so they could just wait for FE, instead of purchasing it twice a year.
(Some would refer to the non-FE versions as a open beta, heh)

But like usual, KONAMI decided to cash in by tweaking PES3 just a bit, and so IE was born.
It's most likely Seabass didn't like the move, alas they called it IE instead of FE...
