Anyone have any insights on age ranges for growth types?

Like early, early/lasting, standard, etc?

I exported my BAL player to look at his specifics in the edit screen and I'm apparently 'standard' growth. My player's 22 currently and seems to have just hit the skids. After most matches I can't even make out any red on the ends of any meters. I'm only up to an 83 overall and if I'm due to flatline I'd like to know now and just start up another BAL player from scratch.

Well just in case anyone else is curious about this like I was, I'm sad to report that my 24 year old AMF has absolutely flatlined at an 87 overall. Doesn't matter if I max out two training categories with focus points, at the end of every match or advancing of the date there is not a pixel of red to be found in any category. I feel a little gypped. I understand that at 24 I'm probably not going to get much faster or jumping ability, but it makes zero sense that I cease to be able to improve (even at a diminishing pace) on my shot/pass/dribble abilities, offense/defense attributtes, stamina?

Last year I was curiously amused at my 109 OVR 25 year old, but in his defense it was an 8 year career consisting 55-60 appearances (club + international) per season and approximately 0.95 goals/app, 0.33 assists/app, and 7.2+ match ratings. The pendulum has been swung far too much in the opposite direction :(

You will keep getting better up to around 30, it just slows right down. After getting up to 81 OVR in the 1st 4 seasons from 64 OVR my player has only gone up to 85 OVR in the next 3 seasons. Sometimes your growth chart will level out, but as soon as your OVR goes up by 1 the chart goes back to a incline :)

I feel angry when something like that happens to me because you spend so much time doing it and you dont know if you really have a chance to get a very good player. At the end, for me, it's just to get him to play online with my friends. I wish Konami would give us THE INFORMATION to plan, to make them better. I dont want to spend that amount of time just to understand how it works.
KONAMI!! make a guide for this mode!

the knowledge that some of us acquired in the past (pes 2009 - 2010) now is useless.

this year was the first year (since i played this mode) I made two legends, so much time playing this.

In the first one, I wanted from the beginning a very good condition, because condition never change (pes 2009-2010) but wrong, Now it changes. So I began with this player with 8 and growing was very slow. I dont know why and Im not saying it was because the condition. At the end he finished growing at the age of 30 and with an overall of 97. Very poor. Just like a reference, last year (pes 2010) my guy was 107 and it was even with the limitation of 95 per stat.

Thats why I began other, this time I didnt care about condition or other stats like mentality, or frequency/accuracy with bad foot, because now all that grows.

Well, everything grew except condition, I didnt know why. It was forever 4. His overall was 109 at the end of the 32 but condition is 4 so when I play online he is blue, green, sometimes purple, if I get very lucky, a yellow. Its just stupid.

To much questions and not answers. To many kids who have no idea what you are talking about. I visit this kind of forums searching for knowledge, and the only thing I find is that Im the one who knows more about the mode and the game. Imagine that..

I have no idea but if something helps, talking to my friends, I have this feeling that if you play very good, I mean being the scoring leader, assist leader, champion of league, cup, champions league, euro cup, world cup, having a rating of 7.5 or more (not lossing the ball, making good passes all the time) then the growing can be better. I dont know, its just an idea.

I have so many doubts. Its not funny, really, kinda rude, like my english..

sorry for that..

Might I ask how much your players OVR grew between 24 and 30? If you export him what does it say his growth pattern is?

I wish I was exaggerating but 20 matches into my 8th season and all my bars haven't moved a single pixel. I even get 3 inches away from my TV to see if there's any red I might be missing from across the room. Then I used all my points to max out shoot and power and played a couple matches, same thing. Then I thought maybe it's punishing me for overtraining and spread them out over shoot/pass/stamina/power and it hasn't had any affect.

My player was a 67 overall when I first created him, which from what I've seen here is quite above average. Wonder if that has any bearing on it? I agree though, it'd be nice for Konami to throw us a bone and give a guide on how they've modeled player growth. 400 matches * 15 minutes = 100 hours devoted to my BAL and I'm still clueless as to the workings of it all.

If I can summon the will to try again once I've decided I'm done with this player, I'll definitely remember to be a lot more careful to export yearly snapshots of my attributes so I can see what's grown over time and by how much.

My guy's condition/w. foot freq/accuracy are all 8/8/8. I know the weak foot stats have improved over time but I'm not sure about condition. All the more reason to export yearly snapshots for comparison.

I don't care that this forum hasn't gotten a post in days, I'm still going to bump this thread with insights as I happen upon them in the hopes it may one day provide aid and comfort to a weary BAL'er googling helplessly in search of development clues and expectations.

My assertation that my player is done growing was incorrect as I've managed to bump 3 of my attributes by a whopping +1 point through nearly 30 games in my 8th season (I also jinxed my luck in sporting an 8 Condition rating, which dropped to a 7 after I played my next match after my post saying it was 8!). So while you don't see the red increases being tacked on at the end of matches you play, somewhere behind the scenes those bars are filling up at a snail's pace. Definitely not developing at a rate where I expect much more than my current 87 overall, but if I can get him into the low 90s I would feel a sense of pyrrhic victory at least :)

Check the web, there is should be some "secret" lol tutorial avalibale regarding how to create top BAL player in 2-3 days with help of PES League editing.
Following this tutorial, you BAL will be at the 79-82 OVR right from the beginning,at 22-24 age all his stats (attack, balance, speed, dribbling, shot,OVR.,etc) will be at 96-99 level and you even don't need to play all matches for a first couple of seasons, enough just to skip most of them.
Also later you'll find the same type of "monsters" lol as a possible partner-mates for your BAL.Mean, there is will be bunch of defenders, midfielders and attackers avaliable with 103-106 OVR lol
I have tried it,it works.Just not really intersted to create BAL like this,it doesnt looks like a football anymore.
