Anyone uses the keyborad to play PES3?

I was wondering if i was the only one who plays PES3 with the keyboard.
I've never owned a gaming console so i'm not that familiar with game pads.
I got one so i can play with friends and i tried to use it but it seems impossible.
Keyboard is just as good as a gamepad...recently i even assigned the left analogue stick to the keyboard to do the 360 rotation so now there nothing i can't do with the keyboard.
I guess i takes a while to get used to (years of playing fifa) but if you don't have a PS2 gamepad (with R2,L2 and analogue sticks) i suggest to try the keyboard.
Now with PES4 coming soon and all the new moves the more buttons the better :)

I do, I think you get more precise controls with the keyboard than you do with a gamepad, so I definately prefer it. And I don't think it takes anything away from the fluidity of the play, atleast for me, I've always felt I could do everything I wanted with the keyboard.

it is all practise.. but i have found that for most sport games the keyboard is too difficult with PS2 controllers you have Everything there.. and it is easy to pull off...

i play it on the pc too. i find it easy to play on the keyboard. what i find hard is to rotate the analogue stick, to perform the 360 zidane spin cos sometimes i get a bit mixed up

To do the 360 spin i assigned the left analogue stick to the buttons just above the directional arrows.
home: up , end: down , del: left , PgDn: right.
That way all i have to do is press del->end->PgDn or PgDn->end->del depending on which way to spin. It's simple really cause it's very close to the directional arrows.

that's what i did, but the ball sometimes goes a bit too forward from the player

I use the keyboard too.
My config is:

I,J,K,L - movement (d-pad)
A - O
S - X
D - :square:
W - :triangle:
Q - L1
E - R1
SPACE - R2
button right to the "L" key - L2
LALT and LSHIFT - manual pass, high and low
1,2,3,4 - r. analog left, down, up, right

For 360 quicky tap 3 and then 4 or opposite
For flick-up quicky tap 2 and then 3
Easy as pie :)

BTW, here is thread with my goal compilation (read the opinion of others and if You like it, download it ;) )
