Anyone you know in Championship Manager?

...or Football Manager 2005 of course, but I couldn't fit that in the title.

Other people around or above my age (17-18), will have noticed that it was this edition of the football management series that most of the players our age make an entrance to the game.

Does anyone know any aspiring footballers that have been immortalised by the latest edition of the hugely popular football manager series?

I downloaded the FM2005 demo the other day and found two of my friends on the game using the search option.

Daniel Grainger at Rushden and Diamonds and Stuart Wall at Coventry. Stuart Wall actually looks pretty decent on the game as well.


And of course, I've signed them both on huge contracts

A friend of mine has a friend who plays for either Dagenham & Redbridge or Leyton Orient (i'll ask him, can't quite remember at the moment) included in the game and his long range shooting is 18 When he phoned him to tell him he was unsurprisingly chuffed to bits

i used to sign fabien brandy on cm (forgot which version). he was a promising youngster at that time. probably now he's something like 17/18 years old
