I think KONAMI is playing with us all, every year promises of more leagues and new licensed kits come, but in the end you have 5 more clubs and a few new licenses. Pro Evolution Soccer is a sucess, its sales are enormous, I wonder if KONAMI just doesn't give a fuck about all of us, just because they know FIFA will be so bad you have to buy PES to play some football. All these years they have been playing with us. They take things from the edit mode, they ruin things that were good in other PES games, like taking of the possibility of making coloured logos and putting Special Hairstyles to players, yes and I'm just talking of the PS2 version, cause there's no space here to talk about the complete disaster the new gen versions were. I think its time for KONAMI to get work, to listen to its fans wishes, to start making PES as good as its was back in the PS2.

Sorry for my English!!!

Why is everone thinking Pes 09 will disappoint? The game isn't even out. Play it and then judge.

Just dont buy the game. I think your problem is that, you love pes but seeing it didnt go your way, you post this thread. You wont go to FIFA either.

If you are not like what I said. Take a pudding, buy other football game and chill the f*ck out.

Sorry for the harsh words, but there is no need for you to post this kind of thread, there are plenty of it already.

dont really remember any promises of more teams or licenses ever coming from konami, if you can source that you will silence me.

for ya other points, taking stuff out of the edit mode was gay, they should only ever add stuff to that, coz then they wouldnt even have to get any licenses they could just leave it to people who are great in the edit mode on here to satisfy the masses, that way they wouldnt have to waste money on abit of writing on some football shirts and so on!

Well for one, if Konami made THE perfect video game, to the maximum of their capabilities, then what could they possibly offer you in the next edition of the game ?

It would just be an update of the same game, because it could never improve. Do you see what i'm getting at. Konami have to stagger there "creative juices" if you will, to ensure that whilst the current edition improves on the previous edition, but that there is also room for improvement in the following edition.

Its all awfully confusing but at the end of the day, they are a business, they do need us to buy the game, but they will never make a perfect game, even if it was within their grasps to do so.

Why make the perfect game one year that was 100% brilliant, when they could make a game that was 75% brilliant, and have fabulous sales, and then the next year, just improve it by another 5% and have great sales again and so on and so on....

Where as if they had the perfect game made, they would probably have conquered the video game football-genre market for that year, but the next year, the just couldnt offer you anything extra.

there can never be a perfect game, because, after all, it's a game. You may think it's perfect one year, but there's always improvements to be made. Back in the days when I was a pes fan, I thought, there's no way they can better this. Now I've seen fifa 09 and Im thinking there's no way this can be bettered. In ten years time, maybe the new footballing sim will be using 4D technology where you wear some sort of eye goggles, and use a specially designed mat as if you are playing as Rooney in real life.

Good Point.. but it doesn't Really matters.. People would still buy the Next game, and the Next game, and so on.

If anything, The PERFECT Game would end all kinds of arguments between PES and FIFA, it would establish PES as The best Next Gen Football Sim.

If they had the "Perfect" game within their grasp -they- would Definitely go for it.. But the Fact is, that they don't have it within their grasp -and- that the "Perfect" game would take more than a Year to develop.

So, the Perfect Game is pretty much Impossible for as Long as Releases continue on a Yearly basis. Or, if it is Possible, then it will surely take years of Tweaking and Improving the game.

That would be called Virtual Reality. 4D is what I believe to be called "time".

u???

taking credit for that one, eh???

Nah, why would I take any credit for that? From what I know 4d is something to do with time. There might be ppl who disagree with me, thats why I used the word "what I believe", its a personal opinion.
