Pes 09 is graphically better, has better passing, slower pace, better animations, harder shooting and old edit mode. Is that enough to make pes 09 better. Yes it is.

Ah I've not been involved in the classic PES Vs FIFA argument since PES3/PES4.

PES will ALWAYS be better. Put it this way, I bought PES2008 and thought it was the worst installment so far. I bought FIFA 08 and returned it because it never left the box more than once as it couldn't get in the disc tray because PES was in it.

PES at its worst is still > FIFA at its best.

sorry but lorenzinho, I borrowed my friends pes 08 and after playing it for 2 mins I was like what a waste of 2 mins of my life. Its no different nor better than the previous, and pes 09 looks exactly the same.

Fifa 09 > anything PES has aver made. PES5> fifa up to fifa 08.

But, PES is just a joke. It's made by people who know soccer but not real football.

Poor player details and graphics, poor ball physics, poor AI, poor design, and gameplay has not imrpoved whereas fifa 09 will be the best football game.

Obviously, there's plenty of fanboys on here who will start crying and try and come up with an insult.

Exactly what i was thinking.

How can you tell that Fifa 09 is better than any PES game. You havent played Fifa 09, so how you know how good the game is guna be. I was really Dissapointed at PES 2008 when i first played it. Tryed out Fifa and i thought WTF, this is shit. I am still playing PES 2008 now even with its many flaws and that really shows how much i dislike Fifa and i agree with many people, PES 2008 has alot wrong with it. However Fifa just aint my Game. Fifa 08 Gameplay didnt flow as much as PES 6 and that really takes the fun outta the game for me.

You are clearly a fanboy. No pes game is arcade. Mayeb Pes 08 is a bit because you can get high scores. In fifa you get high scores in every match. It's less in Fifa 08. Also try to make sense like other forum members said because the first part does not make sense.
