Argentina defenders cant run 4 shit!!!

Can anyone suggest a defender for argentina that has a speed over 80. Cause im getting my ass kicked from anyone who has a fast forward.

I have been using them since iss first hit the market (many years back). I love players like ortega, Batistuta, Maradona...myself and a group of friends have been using the same teams for a £5 a head competitions. In otherwords, pick ur team and stick with that country or club...if there shit next follow up game, tuff luck. Its a good laugh. Ayala I use as well as pasela and samuel. While these guys have great defensive qualities, their ability to run sucks. Any suggestions to help me stop the likes of Owen and Henry? There's a £5 in it for ya's!!!

there isnt no defenders that are gonna catch them two! try keeping ur defence back, you will play them on side but you can close them down easier.

if you're using three defenders put a sweeper behind the defense line in order to help the other 2 center backs...the sweeper doesn't need to be that fast, but response,defense attributes etc must be high

If you feel like you're being out-gunned you've 2 main options, as far as I can see.
1) Edit you CBT's positions further back/set them to man-mark/team to all-defence or counter-attack etc generally be negative.
2) Surely 1 of your CBT's has "D-Line Control" s. ability?
If so, "Edit Position" him forward slightly (think the likes of Owen & Henry have the "Positioning" s. ability) which should cause them to be caught off-side quite often.
It's rather risky though & don't come running to me...
Seriously, if you play against anyone who's half decent, with Henry/Vieri/Owen up-front, you're just gonna have to score more than them!

I won International Cup and South american cup with arg. I used 3 at the back and played ayala as the sweeper this means that if any forwards skin the other to CBs , Ayala will be there to clean them up. I used Samuel and Collicini as the backs. Collicini i found to be great, fast and strong.

Seriously, if you play against anyone who's half decent, with Henry/Vieri/Owen up-front, you're just gonna have to score more than them!

usually that's my tactic!
also a different approach can be usefull. make sure henry can't have the ball. mark his offensive half with almeyda and/or cambiasso (they're argentinian i believe) and position them right before the defence. play a line defence with you defenders and try to use the offside trap tactic with :L2:.

Play a sweeper, and defense only..try and sit back and soak them up..wear out henry ..play 2 defensive midfielders...then second half attack them..
